This is a 6 Week clay workshop where students will gain an increased understanding of wheel throwing to further develop their skills. This is a semi-private class with a maximum of two students.

Week 1: Fundamentals and Review of making - Wheel throwing

Week 2: Wheel throwing practice and skill development

Week 3: Wheel Throwing practice and skill development, creating and trimming.

Week 4: Creating, Trimming, and finishing projects

Week 5: Glazing

Week 6: Art show

Course objectives: to build upon the fundamentals of wheel throwing skills, to see projects through from start to finish, and to increase communication skills. This class is geared for teens.

This workshop will run for six consecutive weeks, meeting for 60 minutes each week.
